The complete makeover of the IC2000 vehicle fleet is the largest vehicle modernization in the history of the long-distance traffic at the SBB. During the refurbishment and renewal of the interior, the colour and material concept of the new long-distance trains is also applied to the IC2000 vehicle fleet. By converting the lighting to LED bulbs and to new indirect light, the interior appears brighter and friendlier. In the business zone - the first coach behind the locomotive - a new working area is being built, which will allow for four seats per composition, and make working on a large work surface especially pleasant
