HO - ELEKTRICKÁ LOK.S 499.2002 ČSD, DCC, ZVUK, Roco71239. Pro obnovu vozového parku ČSD vyvinula Škoda 2. generaci univerzálních elektrických lokomotiv z 2. poloviny 70. let, z nichž vychází řada S 499.2. Písmeno "S" znamená střídavý proud. Dva prototypy lokomotiv byly dodány v roce 1984 a důkladně testovány. S hodinovým výkonem 3 060 kW dosahovaly lokomotivy nejvyšší rychlosti 120 km/h. V roce 1988 bylo dodáno deset sériových lokomotiv s novým třídním označením 263. Lokomotivy byly nasazeny v rychlíkové a nákladní vlakové dopravě.
