DIGITAL STEAM LOCOMOTIVE WITH SOUND and DYNAMIC STEAM! CSD class 477.0 is the last and most technically sophisticated steam locomotive class of the Czechoslovak State Railways (CSD). A total of 60 models were manufactured by the CKD (CKD Sokolovo in Prague) between 1951 and 1955 and were developed from the previous class 476.1. The engines were designed as powerful express train tank locomotives with a 2'D2' axle arrangement for heavy slow train service and, with a weight in working order of around 131 tonnes, were considered one of the heaviest tank locomotives in Europe at the time.The three-cylinder engines reached a maximum speed of around 100 km/h and had a starting tractive force of almost 110 kN. Visually, class 477.0 was characterised by striking lines with an aerodynamic smoke box, Witte smoke-shield plates and elegant, predominately colourful paintwork with decorative lines. This earned it the nickname ‘Papousek’ (parrot) in everyday operation.

Lokomotiva má digitální dekodér mfx a rozsáhlé světelné a zvukové funkce. Má také řízený vysoce výkonný motor se setrvačníkem, namontovaný v kotli. Jedna náprava je poháněna. Další tři nápravy jsou poháněny spojkami. Trakční pneumatiky. Lokomotiva je vyrobena převážně z kovu. Továrně instalovaný generátor kouře s dynamickým odvodem kouře závislým na rychlosti lze digitálně ovládat. Trojité světlomety vpředu a dvojité světlomety na konci lokomotivy se mění podle směru jízdy. Budou fungovat v konvenčním provozu a lze je digitálně ovládat. Horní světlomet lze ovládat samostatně. Horní světlomet má integrovanou a funkční osvětlenou poznávací značku lokomotivy. Osvětlení kabiny, osvětlení podvozku a blikání topeniště lze digitálně ovládat. Je namontován vyrovnávací kondenzátor. Brzdové potrubí, topné potrubí, imitace šroubových spojek a zařízení pro uzavřenou mezeru kolejnice jsou součástí dodávky pro instalaci na lokomotivu.
