The complete renewal of the IC2000 fleet is the largest vehicle modernization in the history of long-distance traffic at SBB. The color and material concept of the new long-distance trains will also be applied to the IC2000 fleet when the interior is refurbished and renewed. With the conversion of the lighting to LED bulbs and new, indirect light, the interior is brighter and friendlier. A new work zone will be installed in the business zone in the first car behind the locomotive, which will allow particularly comfortable work with a large work surface for four seats per composition.
