Originally built by Simmering-Graz-Pauker in Graz, in 2018 the Steiermarkbahn brought two series 1142 locomotives from the railway company ESG back to their old homeland. After an overhaul with a new coat of paint, the multi-traction capable locomotives are back in service and do their job reliably.
