The remote control allows for easy control of the CarMotion vehicles on the system, as well as simple adjustments to the vehicle. To do this, the remote control is pointed at the front of the vehicle, where its infrared sensors are located. Distances greater than approximately 50 cm from the vehicle require more precise alignment of the remote control; up to 1 m is possible under favorable conditions. It is therefore suitable for locally influencing vehicles – driving by sight, so to speak. A vehicle can be started with it – even by an active stop coil – and stopped at any time.
