Railpool already benefited in 2009 from the fact that Angel Trains was unable to find a use for its newly built fleet of locomotives 186 101–110, which were therefore taken over by Railpool. Originally intended as D-A-CH-I variants, these locomotives were later equipped with the additional country package for the Netherlands. Locomotive 186 251, also ordered by ATC and designed for service in D-A-PL, began its initial test runs in 2008 and was sold to Railpool in 2011. None of the eleven locomotives ever passed the acceptance tests at Angel Trains and were initially used as test units before eventually being sold to Railpool. These locomotives played a key role in approval runs for operations in the Netherlands. The model is depicted with red UIC sockets and silver Railpool lettering on the front, reflecting its delivery condition from 2011 to around 2018. During this period, locomotive 186 251 was operated by various rail transport companies, such as RTC, Lokomotion, and BLS Cargo.

In April 2025, the last two XLoad Vectron locomotives that had not yet been vinyl-wrapped, 193 452 and 193 459, also received their wraps. This brings the total number of specially vinyl-wrapped XLoad units, previously differing from the standard design, to four. After the Netherlands and Italy, Germany and Switzerland have now joined the ranks with their own Piercer-themed locomotives at SBB Cargo International. Unlike the silver Italian Piercer, locomotive 193 459 features identical designs on both sides and showcases a range of motifs familiar from Germany.

The first prototype of the new M151.0 railcar was presented by Vagonka Tatra in 1973 as a successor to the M131.1 class railcars, which were no longer up to date. In October 1973, this vehicle was presented to visitors of the World Exhibition of Railway Technology in Basel. Starting in 1975, a total of 678 railcars were delivered in seven series. In addition to the railcars, matching type Blm trailers were delivered, which were identical in appearance to the railcars. In the period from 1979 to 1986, another 205 vehicles were delivered to the Hungarian State Railways MAV and incorporated there in the Bzmot class. The railcars can also be found in cross-border local traffic between Germany and the Czech Republic. Since 1988, the railcars have had class number 810. Model train enthusiasts gave the railcar the nickname the “bread box”, probably inspired by its angular body.

In the early 1960s, the former Czechoslovak State Railways (CSD) needed a new, powerful electric freight locomotives for the 3 kV direct current system in the northern and eastern part of the country. Experience with the E 499.0 and E 499.1 classes – originally developed as universal locomotives – showed that they could be better utilised in passenger service. Locomotive E 499.157 was therefore modified during production for use in freight service and designated the E 469.001. This locomotive had the same power but was equipped with a modified wheelset gearbox by the manufacturer. The service weight was also raised to 88 tonnes by a ballast weight. The series machines had a modified locomotive body. Unlike the E 499.0 with six circular windows per side section, the locomotives of the E 499.1 and E 469.1 classes had four angular windows installed. With a continuous output of 2,032 kW, they were able to achieve a maximum speed of 90 km/h. A total of 85 Skoda locomotives were del
