The segments are made of quality plywood as a kit. They contain a number of straight and curved segments in various lengths and radii. They are assembled one after the other into the required shape. So you don't have to cut or grind anything - you just assemble the segments into the required shape. The pitch angle or bridging height is adjusted as required by the struts.

The roadbed plates are factory-prepared with perfectly and precisely pre-cut grooves for installing the 3×1 mm Viessmann magnetic strip (item no. V8430). The crossing roadbed plates additionally feature pre-cut openings for mounting the mechanical Viessmann turnouts (item no. V8448 or V8445). This makes installing the magnetic strip extremely easy. At the turnout position, simply drill a 35 mm hole into the baseboard using a step drill. The mechanical turnout is then mounted on the underside of the baseboard using the I-Track Holder W (item no. HCT8408W).

Tracks from a starter set can be easily assembled on the board, so you can begin operation right away. After use, simply remove the locomotive and cars and store the board with the tracks safely in the supplied box. If you wish to leave the board on the table, simply place the supplied spacers in the corners and put the lid on top. This creates a safe clearance of 8 cm above the layout for locomotives and cars. Openings in the sides and bottom ensure easy access. Multiple starter boards can be connected side by side using M8 bolts with wing nuts (order number HCT8460S4), creating a large modular layout.

The individual parts are easily assembled using CA Hacker superglue or wood glue, without the need for cutting or sanding. Thanks to their well-designed construction, the segments are strong and resistant to bending. The height and gradient of the roads can be easily adjusted using I-Track struts. The dimensions of the segments correspond to common CarMotion systems, ensuring easy compatibility and seamless integration into existing layouts.
