Diesel locomotive of the 2062 series in the green livery of the Austrian Federal Railways. To replace costly and personnel-intensive steam locomotives in shunting service, the Austrian Federal Railways purchased a series of 400 hp 2062 series fast diesel locomotives from 1958. The Jenbacher plant in Tyrol built a total of 65 of these two-axle small diesel locomotives by 1966.
The model is equipped with a four-pole electric coupling on one end. For push-pull train operation, the current draw between the locomotive and the control cab coach of the Roco Railjet can be switched with a DIP switch. Switching is only possible if the locomotive has an electric coupling.
The model for the livery of this locomotive was the trade fair livery of prototype locomotive T 478.1002 as exhibited at the International Engineering Fair in Brno in 1965.
