V září 2015 PKP Cargo zakoupilo 15 lokomotiv Vectron MS s opcí na dalších pět vozidel. Na začátku roku 2019 se společnost rozhodla tuto rozšířenou opci vykoupit. Licenci k běhu měli v Polsku, Německu, Rakousku, České republice, Slovensku, Rumunsku a Maďarsku. U příležitosti 20. výročí PKP Cargo byly kapotové střechy lokomotiv polepeny modrou barvou.

Diesel locomotive T 478.3089 of the Czechoslovak State Railways. The so-called Brejlovci were designed and built in the Prague ČKD plant, the first prototypes were built in 1968, and a total of 408 pieces of this excellent locomotive were produced.
